This week in mining

• Bitcoin is around $79.9K, down about 4.2% this week and 3.8% over the past 30 days.
• Difficulty is on track for another increase of about +5.8% at the Oct 29 adjustment (estimate), after +5.9% last time. Efficient machines hold up best.
• Altcoins pulled back: Zcash −4%, Litecoin −5%, Kaspa −6% and Siacoin −9%.

• Antminer Z15K (ZEC, USA): $7,850, down from a $8,290 average (−5.3%)
• Antminer L11 (LTC/DOGE): $5,330, down from $5,610 (−5.0%)

• Hydro miners lead on profit per day this week, and the efficiency gap matters more each time difficulty rises.
• Zcash miners stay the top altcoin earners even with ZEC down 4%.
